Procedure
1.Send home parent letter asking for empty food packages.
2.When students bring in packages, examine the words on them as a group.
3.Have students come up and circle items they recognize.
4.Add empty packages to the supermarket center.
Special Accommodations
Send translated letters home, if necessary.
Encourage students to bring in items that have languages other than English on them. |
